A real story about a frustrating midnight Google search — and the free tool it turned into.
Back in February 2026, my wife and I decided to start our own little family. A few months later, she gave birth to our daughter — our little princess. I was overjoyed, genuinely on top of the world. But in the middle of all that happiness, she kept asking me the same question: "Haseeb, what should we name her? It has to define our identity — something that's truly ours."
So I did what a lot of parents do at midnight with a newborn on the way — I searched Google, hoping to blend our two names together into the perfect name for our daughter.
Four or Five Tools Later — Still No Name
I tried four or five different name combiner tools. Every one of them gave me results that felt completely irrelevant. Based on our actual names, they generated combinations that didn't relate to us at all — nothing pronounceable, nothing that felt like it belonged to our family. I'd type in two real names and get back what looked like a random string of letters.
Why Not Build the Tool I Couldn't Find?
That frustration stuck with me. As a publisher who's spent years building websites and understanding what makes tools genuinely useful, I decided: why not build the tool I couldn't find myself?
